This small study of hydrangeas came from observing the soft, abundant blooms growing in my backyard. I was drawn to their rounded shapes, shifting colors, and the way the flowers gathered together. Working loosely allowed me to capture not every detail, but the quiet, familiar feeling of seeing them in summer.
